THE REKINDLE SIGNATURE
SCENT RANGE

Our signature fragrance line is a celebration of the local terroir, an alchemy of scents, creating visceral dreams of vivid memories.

 

​Created in the summer lockdown of ‘21 when swimming was banned, and isolation was encouraged.

 

These scents were day-dreamed, tinkered with and tested, and eventually transported us to all the places we would rather be.

CONSTANTIA IN BLOOM

A fertile valley, alive and abundant. 

​

A heady scent of flowers, growing under the shade of ancient oaks,

In the shadow of the old vines.

& Warm Oak

TAMBOERSKLOOF

An ode to a suburb on the slope of Signal Hill.

 

Where the neighbourhood coffee shop hides between hundred-year-old houses, gin cocktails enjoyed on their patios. The air scented with fresh-cut garden roses & kitchen windowsills filled with summer herbs.

KAROO GARDEN

The smell of desert storms & Indian summers.​

Of the highveld garden, just after the rain.

A distinctly South African scent, both floral and earthy.​ 

 

High notes of Jasmine, with a base of Rooibos and Rosemary.

CEDERBERG

Smells like cool, early morning winter walks.

​

Dried leaves and wet soil crunching underfoot and rushing streams of ice-cold water. 

 

Crisp and Mountainous, with notes of Cypress and Pine blended with a base of Sandalwood.

BETA BEACH

Smells like December. 

Hot summer days and balmy nights. 

Slow suntans, midnight swims and sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean.

A warm fragrance.  Jasmine, Citrus and other notes reminiscent of mid-summer. 

Blended on a base of Vanilla.

MISTY CLIFFS

Like morning fog rolling in over the False Bay Coastline.  

​

A fresh ocean smell, reminiscent of beach homes and ocean breezes.

 

Fresh and inviting, cool and crisp, like rain on the water.  

​

Aloe, Eucalyptus and Sandalwood.

SWARTLAND SUMMER

Smells like Riebeek Kasteel, on a sweltering summer day. 

 

​Inspired by rustic wine lands in January, with heat rising off the lavender fields, and the sharp, bright scent of lemons picked fresh from the tree. 

 

Light floral notes, chased by herbal citrus tones. Bergamot, Lavender, and Citrus

DARK AS NIGHT

'Long nights. Cold Nights. Fires Alight, and the whiskey poured warm. Storms rage,

rains sheets down, and the wild winter winds bend the trees.​

 

Warm & Sophisticated, like the smoky warmth of a wood fire.

'​Patchouli, Clove and Cardamon over a base of Bergamot.

BUSHVELD

Citronella and lemongrass. ​

Smells like hot days in the bush.

Gin and tonics on the porch and lazy afternoons in the shade.

A pleasant outdoor summer scent, and highly effective as an insect repellent. ​
